An augmented reality project created as part of my thesis in the University of Limerick.

Motion of the user’s hand and head are tracked by a kinect depth sensor camera.

Data from an accelerometer and flex sensors on the glove are sent via an arduino to the computer.
Vibration motors on the tips of the fingers of the glove provide haptic feedback.

Motion data is processed in Ni-Mate and Max/Msp before being sent to Unity.
A simulated hand and environment is rendered in Unity, which reacts to the input from the user, and sends back feedback to the glove.
